This Privacy Statement applies to AUBD Ltd. The Business Directory is owned and operated by AUBD Limited (registered in England and Wales, company number 06393966).  The company is a subsidiary of Age UK Nottingham and Nottinghamshire (Registered Charity Number 1067881).

AUBD Ltd is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and security. Whenever you provide us with any personal or sensitive information via any contact method we will treat that information in accordance with this statement, our data protection policy and current UK Data Protection legislation.

Data Protection

When you buy AUBD membership through us we will collect some of your personal details. This information will be used for administering your contract and delivering the service or product you have signed up to. The information requested during the application is required to complete the membership process and forms part of your contract with us. Unless otherwise stated, the information you provide will never be used for any other purpose without your permission.

Storing Your Data

We will keep your data for no longer than 6 years from the time your AUBD membership ends. We will retain basic details after the 6-year period for any future association.  

Submitting a Review

By submitting a review, you consent to us collecting some of your personal details. Reviews remain visible as long as the AUBD member’s entry on AUBD is live. Any reviews submitted by postal card are entered on to the AUBD website, if you gave us permission to do so. The postal cards are held for one year after submission. We sometimes use reviews for our social media marketing. We will never give your data away or sell it to anyone.

Data Accuracy

The accuracy of your information is important to us. We will endeavour to ensure that we hold accurate details about you. If your details change, please let us know so that we can update our records.
